DESCRIPTION:Artists will take turns posing for each other during these monthly free\, laid-back\, clothed figure drawing sessions. Feel free to come in your fancy clothes\, your regular clothes\, or even in costume. Modeling is voluntary and attendees can choose how long they want to hold a pose. \nNo drawing instruction will be provided. Artists are responsible for bringing their own drawing supplies. This event is a partnership between VALA Art Center and Pride Across the Bridge\, with volunteer facilitator Uncle Jack from Wolfberry Studio LLC. \nVALA Art Center is next to Nekter Juice Bar and across from Redmond Downtown Park! DESCRIPTION:Trans Advocacy Day 2026\nEach year Gender Justice League brings hundreds of Trans people and allies to the state capitol of Olympia\, WA\, to offer training on effective advocacy and to facilitate attendees’ meeting face-to-face with their elected officials to tell personal stories and advocate for policies vital for our community’s well-being and safety. \nTrans Advocacy Day is Monday February 16\, 2026.\nRegister by February 5 for the following: \nWhat to expect\nWe’ll meet ~8 AM at a shared location. When you arrive\, you’ll be greeted by our team of volunteers and organizers who will help you check-in and get oriented. You’ll receive a name badge and a packet of essential materials for the day\, which will include a schedule\, advocacy resources\, and other key information to support you in meetings with your legislators. While waiting for the morning training session to begin\, you’ll have the opportunity to connect with fellow advocates\, build community\, and prepare for a day of impactful action.

DESCRIPTION:Pride Across the Bridge works hard to provide inclusive and affirming spaces for transgender and nonbinary individuals to come together\, celebrate their identities\, and enjoy the camaraderie and joys of swimming\, that may be taken for granted by many. We know the hurdles many in our trans and nonbinary community face\, and whether it’s body dysphoria or self-conscious body image keeping you from the water\, join your community who understands and live out your aquatic dream! We offer a supportive environment where everyone can feel welcomed and respected\, regardless of their gender identity or expression. Our events are designed to foster a sense of community\, belonging\, and joy\, allowing participants to connect with like-minded individuals\, share experiences\, and build lasting friendships. 🙂 \nWe are a volunteer-driven organization committed to promoting the well-being and visibility of the trans and nonbinary community through engaging and accessible events. Our team is comprised of passionate individuals dedicated to creating positive change and celebrating diversity. Whether you’re a seasoned swimmer or dipping your toes in the water for the first time\, Pride Across the Bridge welcomes you to join us in making waves and embracing the beauty of our shared journey. \nRSVP for free to join the swim. These breakfasts give folks 50+ a chance to connect with each other\, eat good food and enjoy a morning boost of community that the Eastside has been long overdue for. Pride Across the Bridge is partnering with the marvelous ​​​Sno-Valley Senior Center to create this space. \nWe meet on the first Saturday of each month at different locations on the Eastside from 10:30am-12pm. \nThis is a free to attend event with food and drink available for purchase\, but not required! SUMMARY:Beyond Binary Connections
DESCRIPTION:Come as you are to this bimonthly no-expectations social space for our transgender and non-binary community. Enjoy good food\, board and card games\, and chill conversation with others in the queer community. You are also welcome to bring a book to read or an art project to work on while quietly enjoying the company of other gender-diverse folks. Feel free to bring a game of your own to share or just hang out and chat!\n​\nEach meet-up will be at a different location\, so sign up for Pride Across the Bridge newsletter or watch our website. \nMeetings on the fourth Thursday of each month are hosted at Redmond Library in meeting room 1. \nMasks are encouraged to keep our community safe! All ages are welcome to come. This space is led by our Good Vibes Fairy\, Milo! Please observe Pride Across the Bridge general event rules. Snacks and drinks are occasionally provided in this space. \n-This is a safe space for all. Any behavior that goes against the 2SLGBTQIA+ and BIPOC community will result in an individual being asked to leave.\n​\n-All ages are welcome\, but we ask minors or other folks who are under legal guardianship be accompanied by a guardian or friend when attending this social event. Youth can be accompanied by another youth. DESCRIPTION:Pride Across the Bridge works hard to provide inclusive and affirming spaces for transgender and nonbinary individuals to come together\, celebrate their identities\, and enjoy the camaraderie and joys of swimming\, that may be taken for granted by many. We know the hurdles many in our trans and nonbinary community face\, and whether it’s body dysphoria or self-conscious body image keeping you from the water\, join your community who understands and live out your aquatic dream! We offer a supportive environment where everyone can feel welcomed and respected\, regardless of their gender identity or expression. Our events are designed to foster a sense of community\, belonging\, and joy\, allowing participants to connect with like-minded individuals\, share experiences\, and build lasting friendships. 🙂 \nWe are a volunteer-driven organization committed to promoting the well-being and visibility of the trans and nonbinary community through engaging and accessible events. Our team is comprised of passionate individuals dedicated to creating positive change and celebrating diversity. Whether you’re a seasoned swimmer or dipping your toes in the water for the first time\, Pride Across the Bridge welcomes you to join us in making waves and embracing the beauty of our shared journey. \nRSVP for free to join the swim. If you need gender-affirming swimwear\, Pride Across the Bridge may be able to offer reimbursements to help cover costs on first-come-first-serve basis. Please see event page for link to apply. \nGuidelines: In our swim meetups\, inclusivity and respect are paramount. We operate under a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination\, harassment\, or hate speech based on gender identity\, sexual orientation\, race\, or any other discrimination against your human beings. We ask all participants to respect each other’s pronouns and to contribute to a positive and supportive atmosphere. Privacy and personal boundaries are to be respected at all times. \nAll-ages welcome – attendees under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Kids may be asked to take a swim test (especially if under 14 or needing additional support) \nNo personal photography will be allowed to maintain a safe environment for everyone’s comfort\, unless explicitly notified by event hosts with permission from everyone in the shot. We know that folks may still want a memento to remember their joy\, so we’re planning live illustration for each swim meet. We will have paid trans and nonbinary live sketch artists from our community\, who are there to enjoy the vibe and capture the magic. \nWe encourage community engagement and invite everyone to stay informed about our events\, announcements\, and community news by signing up for our newsletter on our website or following us on social media @prideacrossthebridge. We strive to make our events accessible to all\, and accommodations can be arranged upon request.
