SUMMARY:Queer Figure Drawing
DESCRIPTION:Artists will take turns posing for each other during these monthly free\, laid-back clothed figure drawing sessions on first and third Sundays of each month. Feel free to come in your fancy clothes\, your regular clothes\, or even in costume. Modeling is voluntary and attendees can choose how long they want to hold a pose. \nNo drawing instruction will be provided. Artists are responsible for bringing their own drawing supplies. Facilitated by Jack from Wolfberry Studio LLC with assistance from PAB volunteers Lytal\, Michael and Nick. Masks encouraged to keep our community safe. Supported\, in part\, by 4Culture/King County Lodging Tax. \nWe are meeting in the back lounge area of the Together Center. Together Center entrances are LOCKED on the weekends. Go around to the BACK ENTRANCE on the south side of the building so that we can see you and let you into the life drawing area. If you are at the front entrance\, go right until you reach the end of the building and turn left around the building. \nStreet parking is available on NE 87th St. Transit Options: Bus: Redmond Transit Center is 0.4 miles (about 7 min walk) away. Light Rail: Downtown Redmond Station is 0.6 miles (about 12 minutes walk) away. \nGuidelines \n\nDo not photograph other attendees without their permission.\nIf you make drawings other attendees with discernible features\, do not post your drawings on social media without their permission.\nDo not touch other attendees or their drawings without their permission.\nPlease help keep the space clean.

This event is a partnership between VALA Art Center and Pride Across the Bridge\, with volunteer facilitator Uncle Jack from Wolfberry Studio LLC. \nVALA Art Center is next to Nekter Juice Bar and across from Redmond Downtown Park! Warning: GPS might take you to the old location if you just put in VALA! Please use address “8020 161st Avenue Northeast #104 Redmond\, WA 98052” or Nekter Juice Bar Redmond. \nADA Accessible entrance with small lip. Redmond Transit Center and its Park and Ride lot is within walking distance.
