In June of 2021, during a record-breaking heat wave, Monroe Washington made history with the FIRST EVER PRIDE event at Skykomish River Park. Over 700 people attended to celebrate  the love, freedom, and belonging of LGBTQIA+ community members and to honor the hard work and struggle of those who have paved the way through history.​The celebration continues…
