Emerge! Events & Webinars
TRACTION brings folks together in celebration of our beautiful and authentic selves as trans and gender-diverse people, and to create a sense of belonging and joy.
2019 – TRACTION debuted just a few months before the world shut down in March of 2020. Our inaugural public event, Emerge!, was our “Hello, World!” kick off, intended to spark curiosity and interest in volunteering.
The event was a success, but thanks to COVID-19, we wouldn’t have another in-person gathering until the Vibes! showcase in May 2024!

Meanwhile, as we all learned social distancing and how to use Zoom, TRACTION developed the Emerge! Series online programming on a wide variety of topics of interest to trans+ people.
