“Trans Day of Remembrance gives us an opportunity to come together and recognize the violence, discrimination, and systemic injustices that our transgender community members face. This day also serves as a call to action—reminding us of the urgent need for visibility, protection, and dignity for trans communities,” says Sara of PFLAG Moscow. “We must remember that every life taken matters, silence is never an option, and everyone deserves to live as their authentic self.”
Participants are encouraged to bring photos, flowers, or tokens to leave for our Transgender brothers and sisters who are lost. Candles will be provided for attendees.
PFLAG Moscow is part of the nation’s largest organization dedicated to supporting, educating, and advocating for LGBTQ+ people and those who love them.
