Trans day of rememberance alter

Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR) is an annual observance on November 20 that honors the memory of the transgender people whose lives were lost in acts of anti-transgender violence. For two weeks in November, the Office of Inclusion hosts a Transgender Day of Remembrance table in the entrance of IMQ to honor all those whose lives were lost to anti-transgender violence in 2023. Members of the NAU community can visit the altar to pay their respects and to learn about the violence affecting the transgender community.
