Wenatchee Pride invites you to join us for Transgender Day of Remembrance. We'll be holding a candlelight vigil at Memorial Park to honor our trans siblings lost this year. The vigil begins at 6 PM with a speaker at 6:30 PM. Bring your own candles, or use one provided by Wenatchee Pride.
Transgender Day of Remembrance also known as TDOR is an annual observance on November 20 that honors the lives lost due to violent acts of transphobia. We welcome you to join us as we memorialize and honor our fallen siblings at our vigil.
Join us in a celebration of life for our trans siblings who have been lost this year.
This year we will have a series of panels that showcase three different generations and their various transition and life experiences. We will also honor those we have lost to violence with a candle light vigil and reading of the names, followed by a 30 minute decompression/ community building time.
