Did you see us on social media in October?
TRACTION’s team was pounding the virtual pavement throughout October to encourage our community to vote. We won’t have data for a while to tell us how actively our 2STGNC community exercised their right to vote. But what we can say is that TRACTION was able to engage more people in the conversation than ever before.

Here are some highlights.
In September and October almost all of our posts were about voting while trans. That means preparing folk for things like this:
Voter ID issues
- How to check your registration.
- How to check for your state’s voter ID laws.
- How to vote early to avoid polling place vigilantes.
- How to get help with your legal ID early.
Vote on everything on your ballot
- This election is about more than just the president!
- It’s VERY important for us to vote on our local judges, representatives, and ballot issues.
- How to get a look at what’s on your ballot before you vote.
- Trans liberation requires representation.
In the last few weeks several news outlets also reported on studies that support trans identities. Did you see them, too? We promoted every one that crossed our path, in the hopes of combating the ridiculously dangerous dis-information being spread by the conservative party.
Along with our anti-Project 2025 post, these activated the highest number of responses we’ve ever seen. Most of them horrible. Yet, we were deeply gratified at the number of people who clicked the links to read the studies.
Friends, we hope you have been able to exercise your constitutional right to vote in today’s election. Whatever happens in the next days and months, we at TRACTION are determined to continue elevating trans excellence, celebrating trans joy, and fighting like hell for trans liberation.
