Decolonizing Gender, Part II: A Roundtable Discussion

Decolonizing Gender, Part II: A Roundtable Discussion

JULY 8TH, 2021 at 6:30PM: We're taking pride back to its roots by honoring the history and contemporary intersectional experiences that Indigenous, Black, and AAPI communities hold on gender!

Part 2 of our series on Decolonizing Gender, this event is a roundtable discussion hosted by activist, political educator, and storyteller, Malcolm Shanks—accompanied by local organizers and activists Mahkyra Gaines, Ara-Lei, Randy Ford, and Ganesha Gold Buffalo. Malcolm and panelists will discuss and answer questions from a post-colonial perspective by examining the relationship between transphobia, white supremacy, and European colonialism.

We'll be streaming on Facebook, YouTube, and Twitter! Live ASL Provided.
